Lakers' Corey Brewer: Dealt to Lakers on Tuesday

Brewer and an unprotected 2017 first-round pick were shipped to the Lakers on Tuesday in exchange for Lou Williams, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

The first-round pick is the more coveted asset for the Lakers, but Brewer is still a rangy forward who should add more of a defensive backbone to a second unit. However, Brewer offers little from a fantasy perspective with averages of 4.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 15.9 minutes per game with the Rockets this season, and that's unlikely to change in his new situation. Look for him to serve as the primary backup to starting shooting guard Nick Young. Brewer's acquisition along with the dismissal of Williams should free up sixth man Jordan Clarkson to take on higher usage with the second unit as the backup point guard.
