Magic's C.J. Watson: Held out of Tuesday's practice

Watson (Achilles) was held out of Tuesday's practice and is expected to undergo an MRI on Wednesday, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Watson was removed from the Magic's last game Feb. 15 against the Spurs due to the sore right Achilles, and appears the full week off for the All-Star break hasn't been sufficient time for him to recover from the issue. The MRI should provide more clarity on the extent of Watson's injury, but for the time being, we'll consider him questionable for Thursday's tilt with the Trail Blazers. If Watson can't go, Elfrid Payton may rejoin the starting lineup at point guard, with both he and D.J. Augustin benefiting from increased playing time.
