Porzingis knocks off Hayward to win Skills Challenge

The legend of the Unicorn grows by the day.

New York Knicks center Kristaps Porzingis defeated Utah Jazz small forward Gordon Hayward to win the Taco Bell Skills Challenge to kick off 2017 All-Star Saturday Night.

Porzingis and Hayward both ran a perfect course, but it was the Latvian sharpshooter who managed to drill the crucial pullup three at the end.

This marks the second straight year in which the bigs have defeated the guards in an event that should favor smaller ball handlers. Karl-Anthony Towns took home the trophy at All-Star 2016 in Toronto.
