Bulls' Robin Lopez: Near double-double in Thursday win

Lopez went for 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks over 27 minutes in Thursday's 104-103 win over the Celtics.

Analysis:

Lopez was an impressive presence down low while drawing even with Bobby Portis for the second-most shot attempts on the Bulls. The veteran big man wraps up the first half of the season with double-digit scoring efforts in five of his last six games, and seven of his last nine overall. He's also stepped it up on the glass during February, with six or more rebounds in six of eight contests during the month. Lopez has picked up his offensive involvement in Dwyane Wade's recent four-game absence due to sore wrists and an illness, as the big man is sporting a 27.5 percent usage rate during that span and averaging a solid 12.5 points in February overall, with the latter serving as his best monthly figure in that category to date this season.
