Pacers' Jeff Teague: Disappoints in loss to Wizards

Teague posted 6 points (3-7 FG, 0-3 3pt), six rebounds and five assists across 27 minutes in Thursday's 111-98 loss to the Wizards.

Analysis:

If you look at his game logs, Teague has the kind of game we saw Thursday night once in every eight to ten games. Luckily for Teague owners, he's an absolute stud in the remaining contests. It's not entirely Teague's fault, as coach Nate McMillan tends to give Monta Ellis and Rodney Stuckey more backcourt minutes than is warranted. When you give Ellis 30 minutes, naturally Teague's production is going to suffer, and that can cause his owners some frustration. He more than makes up for it with his usual massive stat lines, and always shows up with several dimes, as he averages 8.2 assists per game this season.
