Rockets' Patrick Beverley: Dealing with minor groin strain

Beverley's groin strain isn't expected to be serious, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Beverley suffered the injury during Wednesday's game against the Heat, limiting him to just 13 minutes before being pulled from the game. With the Rockets off until Jan. 23 against the Pelicans because of the All-Star break, Beverley should be able to recover fully in time for that outing. That, of course, depends on if the injury is as minor as expected, although we should see another update at some point early next week.
