Bulls' Nikola Mirotic: Available for Thursday's game

Mirotic (back) will be available for Thursday's game against the Celtics, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Mirotic was able to practice Wednesday and looks to be over the back spasms that had sidelined him for the past two contests, but coach Fred Hoiberg still may opt to limit the big man's role with the All-Star break on the horizon. Even so, Mirotic's return to active status likely means that Bobby Portis will drop out of the rotation.
