Paul George is staying put.

The 26-year-old will remain with the Pacers after Indiana passed on trade offers for the All-Star forward prior to Thursday's deadline, league sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, and Los Angeles Lakers were reportedly among the teams who inquired about George after Indiana opted to gauge the trade market for the four-time All-Star. The Celtics were reportedly open to giving up the Nets' 2017 first-round pick for George, while the Nuggets apparently presented the Pacers with a "monster offer."

An unrestricted free agent in 2018, George is reportedly "hell-bent" on joining the Lakers next summer if the Pacers aren't a title contender by then.

George is averaging 22.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.6 steals on 44.6 percent shooting in 50 games.
