Nuggets' Gary Harris: Leads team in scoring with 22 in victory

Harris delivered 22 points (8-17 FG, 3-6 3pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals over38 minutes in Wednesday's 112-99 loss to the Timberwolves.

Analysis:

While the Nuggets didn't exactly look like the team that destroyed the Warriors on Monday, there are some bright spots to be noted. Gary Harris and Jameer Nelson are proving to be a great backcourt tandem for the team, and Emmanuel Mudiay (back) can't be pleased. Harris is in the midst of a six-game stretch where he's averaging 17.2 points per game and an impressive 48.6 percent from beyond the arc. Although he missed almost two months due to injury, it appears that his spot in the starting lineup is his to lose. Until proven otherwise, consider Harris a safe start in all formats.
