Rockets' Ryan Anderson: Posts 17 and five 3's in loss

Anderson went for 17 points (6-18 FG, 5-10 3pt), along with six rebounds and an assist over 31 minutes in Wednesday's 117-109 loss to the Heat.

Analysis:

When Anderson is hot and Harden has one of his trademark triple-doubles, a notch in the loss column is rare. Anderson ranks 7th in the league in 3-points made, shoots 40.3 percent from beyond the arc and is simply ruthless if he finds his stroke. He nailed five from long range Wednesday but the Heat kept pace offensively and sealed the win. You could tell Anderson was frustrated with the proceedings as he collected a technical late in the game after he contested a blocked shot by Hassan Whiteside. If you're in the market for 3-pointers you could do a lot worse than Anderson, and although he's a bit of a risk in weekly leagues, he's a valuable commodity in roto formats.
