Nuggets' Will Barton: Will come off the bench Wednesday

Barton will return to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

The Nuggets are still dealing with a slew of injuries, but they've opted to go with a bigger lineup Wednesday that will feature Jameer Nelson, Gary Harris, Juancho Hernangomez, Mason Plumlee and Nikola Jokic. That said, despite the move to the bench, Barton is still in line to pick up a significant amount of minutes with injuries still piled up. Barton had a fantastic showing during Monday's start, posting 24 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, so he likely earned another shot at a hefty workload and can still be expected to have solid production off the bench.
