Pacers' Lavoy Allen: Will not play Wednesday

Allen (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports.

Analysis:

Allen was labeled doubtful prior to testing his right knee in warmups, so his absence doesn't come as a surprise. The Pacers have one more game Thursday against the Wizards before the All-Star break, so there's a good chance Indiana remains cautious with the big man and gives him extended rest. In his absence, Kevin Seraphin is the most likely candidate to start at power forward. He played 27 minutes and recorded 12 points and four rebounds as the starter in Monday's loss to the Spurs.
