Magic's Terrence Ross: Will sit out Wednesday vs. Spurs

Ross has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Ross, who was traded to the Magic earlier in the week, was able to participate in the team's morning shootaround and reportedly passed his physical as expected, but it appears the Magic are going to let him get settled a bit before bringing him into the fold. The Magic are opting to start Jeff Green and Aaron Gordon at small forward and power forward, but after the All-Star break, there's a chance Ross pushes for a role in the team's starting lineup. Following the break, the next game for the Magic comes on Feb. 23 against the Trail Blazers.
