Trail Blazers' Al-Farouq Aminu: Ruled out vs. Jazz

Aminu (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup with the Jazz, Joe Freeman of The Oregonian reports.

Analysis:

As expected, Aminu will be held out of action after he sprained his left knee in Monday's overtime loss to the Hawks. He suffered the injury in the fourth quarter and was able to remain in the contest, but it's likely that he's still dealing with some painful swelling, so the Trail Blazers will use the upcoming All-Star break to give him some extended rest. In his absence, expect starting power forward Noah Vonleh, who fouled out in 14 minutes Monday, to take on increased minutes.
