Magic's Terrence Ross: Goes through shootaround, waiting on physical

Ross went through the Magic's morning shootaround Wednesday, but his status for the evening's matchup with the Spurs remains unknown, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Ross and Serge Ibaka, who were both traded for each other Tuesday, have both joined their new teams, but the pair will need to pass physicals until they receive clearance to play. It's possible that both could take care of that matter prior to tip off Wednesday, but if not, Ross' team debut won't come until after the All-Star break. Coach Frank Vogel said after shootaround that the Magic would likely use smaller lineups in future contests, which would be welcome news for Ross, who could settle into a starting role on the wing once he gets acclimated with his new team.
