Lakers' Julius Randle: Scores 11 in loss

Randle put up 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-1 3pt, 1-4 FT), five rebounds and four assists over 27 minutes in Tuesday's 97-96 loss to the Kings.

Analysis:

It was another rough night for the Lakers, as Randle and the rest of the team fumbled their way to an anemic 41 points in the first half. Coach Luke Walton seems ensconced in the idea of promoting the youth movement on the team, which is one reason he chose to sit Randle and D'Angelo Russell in the fourth quarter when they were down by 16 points. Randle will continue to see his share of minutes moving forward but he's a risky play when you consider the Lakers' sputtering offensive output.
