Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Produces double-double in win over T-Wolves

Thompson produced 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 116-108 win over the T-Wolves.

Analysis:

Thompson crashed the boards with his usual aplomb and played excellent defense on Karl-Anthony Towns at times, rounding out his double-double with an efficient night shooting the ball. Though Thompson is averaging under 30 minutes per game on the season, the long-term absence of Kevin Love (knee) should see the team lean on him even more for his rebounding prowess, with the more consistent court time seemingly likely to boost his overall production.
