Mavericks' Andrew Bogut: Will not play Wednesday

Bogut (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup against the Pistons, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

Coach Rick Carlisle had previously labeled Bogut as doubtful to play in the Mavs' final game before the All-Star break, so his absence was fully expected. The team remains optimistic that Bogut may be able to resume practicing when the team reconvenes next week, and once he's healthy, he'll likely settle back into a bench role as the main backup to Dirk Nowitzki.
