Warriors' Klay Thompson: Will return Wednesday vs. Kings

Thompson told ESPN's Rachel Nichols that his sore heel is a minor issue, and that he plans to play Wednesday against the Kings, Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Analysis:

Thompson sat out Tuesday's loss to the Nuggets as a result of the injury, but it doesn't look like it will keep him sidelined for the Warriors' final game before the All-Star break. The Warriors would certainly hold Thompson out Wednesday if there was any true concern about his health, so the fact that he's trending toward availability indicates that the heel shouldn't trouble him moving forward.
