Bulls' Jimmy Butler: Will play Tuesday

Butler (heel) will play in Tuesday's game against the Raptors, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Butler was listed as probable after taking part in shootaround earlier Tuesday, so it was fully expected that he'd be able to play after missing three of the last four games with a bruised right heel. While Butler may not be 100 percent recovered from the injury, it's not expected that he'll face any restrictions Tuesday, so look for him to take on his usual role as the team's alpha dog. In order to make room for Butler in the lineup, Doug McDermott will head back to the bench following a one-game run as a starter.
