Nuggets' Darrell Arthur: Out Wednesday vs. Timberwolves

Arthur (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

The Nuggets will give Arthur an early start on the All-Star break, as he'll sit out for the second game in a row after his left knee soreness resurfaced earlier this week. Along with Arthur, Kenneth Faried (ankle) and Danilo Gallinari (groin) are out and Wilson Chandler (illness) is questionable, which could leave the Nuggets woefully shorthanded in the frontcourt once again Wednesday. Juan Hernangomez was the big beneficiary of all of those players sitting out Monday's win over the Warriors, as the rookie started at power forward and turned in the best performance of his career with 27 points (9-17 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 43 minutes.
