Cavaliers' Iman Shumpert: Will return Tuesday vs. Wolves

Shumpert (ankle) will play Tuesday against the Timberwolves, Cavaliers television play-by-play broadcaster Fred McLeod reports.

Analysis:

A sprained left ankle cost Shumpert the last three games, but he'll return to action on the same day the Cavaliers revealed Kevin Love will require arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and miss the next six weeks. Shumpert, who took part in the Cavs' morning shootaround, will likely move back into the starting lineup at shooting guard in place of DeAndre Liggins, as was the case prior to the injury.
