Bulls' Nikola Mirotic: Out Tuesday

Mirotic (back) won't play Tuesday against the Raptors and is unlikely to play Thursday against the Celtics, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Back spasms will cost Mirotic his second straight game, and coach Fred Hoiberg intimated that it's very possible the 26-year-old will be sidelined until after the All-Star break. A decision on Mirotic's status for Thursday's contest likely won't be announced until Wednesday, however. In Mirotic's absence, expect to see more of Bobby Portis, who played 31 minutes off the bench in Sunday's blowout loss to the Timberwolves.
