Hawks' Dwight Howard: Back on double-double train Monday

Howard produced 19 points (5-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-16 FT), 16 rebounds, one assist, four blocks and two steals over 38 minutes in Monday's 109-104 overtime win over the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

The veteran big man made his second-highest amount of visits to the charity stripe on the season, and most since tallying 20 free-throw attempts way back on Oct. 31 versus the Kings. Although he only drained those shots at a clip of 56.3 percent Monday, they accounted for nearly half of what was his second-highest point total in seven February contests. Howard was in double digits in the rebound column for the sixth time during that span as well, and has now also recorded multiple blocks in four outings this month.
