Warriors' Draymond Green: Scores 5 in loss to Nuggets

Green posted 5 points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3pt, 3-4 FT), six assists, two rebounds, three steals and two blocks over 24 minutes in Monday's 132-110 loss to the Nuggets.

Analysis:

It's going to be an uphill battle when you face a Denver team that decided to tie the NBA record for three-pointers and throw up 24 bombs from beyond -- even the Warriors couldn't handle the rainstorm. Green's horrible night isn't entirely his fault, as Coach Steve Kerr benched him and most of the other starters in the fourth quarter, passing their usual minutes to the second unit. Green and the Warriors will look to right the ship Wednesday against the Kings.
