Nets' Trevor Booker: Will remain in bench role Monday

Updating a previous report, Booker will remain in a bench role for Monday's matchup with the Grizzlies, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Analysis:

There were reports indicating Booker would take back his starting role at power forward, but coach Kenny Atkinson will stick with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson instead. Hollis-Jefferson has been out-played by Booker off the bench, so it remains to be seen if this will remain the case following the All-Star break. Over his last four games, Booker has averaged 11.8 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists, and he could still end up seeing the bigger workload despite coming off the bench.
