Warriors' Klay Thompson: Out Monday with sore heel

Thompson won't play Monday against the Nuggets due to a sore right heel, Chris Haynes of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

This is the first we've heard of the injury, but there's no reason to believe it's overly serious, and the Warriors are likely just exercising caution with the All-Star break approaching. In Thompson's absence, some combination of Ian Clark, Patrick McCaw and Andre Iguodala figure to pick up most of the vacant minutes at shooting guard. Consider Thompson questionable for the Warriors' final game before the break Wednesday against the Kings.
