Mavericks' Deron Williams: Misses shootaround with illness

Williams is dealing with an illness and is questionable to play Monday against the Celtics, Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis:

Williams returned from an eight-game absence due to a sprained left big toe in Saturday's win over the Magic, taking back his usual starting role at point guard and providing seven points and four assists in 16 minutes. The expectation was that Williams would start again Monday and potentially take on more minutes, but the illness threatens to put him back on the sideline. Williams will likely end up being a game-time decision, and if he's ultimately held out, Yogi Ferrell would likely reenter the starting lineup.
