Nuggets' Kenneth Faried: Out Monday vs. Warriors

Faried (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Warriors, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

As expected, Faried will miss his third straight contest due to the right ankle sprain, and it's looking increasingly likely that the Nuggets will hold him out Wednesday against the Timberwolves, the team's final game before the All-Star break. With Danilo Gallinari (groin) also out Monday and Wilson Chandler (illness) not yet clear to play, the Nuggets could potentially be shorthanded at forward. Chandler and Will Barton would likely take on most of the minutes on the wing if both are available Monday, with Darrell Arthur and Juan Hernangomez picking up the scraps.
