Mavericks' Deron Williams: Will play Saturday vs. Magic

Williams (toe) will play Saturday against the Magic, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

After he was able to test out his sprained left toe at morning shootaround and during pregame warmups, Williams will be back in action for the first time in eight games. The Mavericks have yet to announce whether Williams will take back his normal starting role, but even if the team opts to ease the veteran back in, he'll still eat into the minutes of rookie Yogi Ferrell, who has filled in admirably during Williams' absence.
