Knicks' Joakim Noah: Will not play Sunday

Noah (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Noah will miss his fourth straight game due to the left hamstring strain, and at this point, it wouldn't be surprising if the Knicks held him out through the All-Star break to recover from the injury. The team opted to go with a smaller lineup in Friday's loss to the Nuggets, starting three guards and sliding Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis to power forward and center, respectively, but a matchup against a more sizable Spurs frontcourt could translate to more run for Kyle O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez on Sunday.
