Knicks' Derrick Rose: Cleared to play Monday vs. Lakers

Rose (ankle) has been cleared to play in Monday's game against the Lakers, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Rose has been sidelined for the last four games with a left ankle sprain, but after he was able to practice Sunday, the Knicks fully expected to have him available Monday. He'll likely take back his starting role at point guard and face no minute restrictions, while Brandon Jennings will settle back into a more reduced role off the bench.
