Nuggets' Danilo Gallinari: Ruled out Friday vs. Bucks

Gallinari (groin) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Bucks, Harrison Wind of BSN Denver reports.

Analysis:

Gallinari will undergo an MRI later Thursday, which should provide a better idea if the left groin strain will result in a multi-game absence for the forward. For now, the Nuggets will proceed cautiously with Gallinari, who should be viewed as day-to-day heading into the second half of the back-to-back set Saturday against the Spurs. With Gallinari out, Wilson Chandler and Juan Hernangomez appear to be the top candidates to pick up most of the minutes at small forward.
