Thunder's Enes Kanter: Diagnosed with right forearm fracture Thursday

Kanter fractured his right forearm during Thursday's game against the Mavericks and will be out indefinitely, Royce Young of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

The Thunder and Kanter have to be especially upset about the injury considering it was easily avoidable, as the big man hurt his arm when he forcibly struck a chair in frustration in the first half of Thursday's game. Follow-up X-rays confirmed the fracture, so it now looks likely that Kanter will miss several weeks -- if not more than a month -- while recovering. We'll have to wait and see how coach Billy Donovan manages his frontcourt rotation in the wake of Kanter's absence, but Steven Adams, Domantas Sabonis, Jerami Grant and Joffrey Lauvergne all look poised to take on some extra playing time.
