Embiid, Towns headline Rising Stars rosters

The NBA announced the rosters for the All-Star weekend Rising Stars Challenge on Wednesday, and Karl-Anthony Towns and Joel Embiid will help represent the USA and the World, respectively.

As a rookie, Towns helped the U.S. team defeat the World squad 157-154 in last year's edition in Toronto. He's joined this season by fellow sophomores Jahlil Okafor and D'Angelo Russell, as well as rookies Brandon Ingram and Marquese Chriss.
Embiid anchors the World side, featuring other non-U.S. players like Kristaps Porzingis (Latvia), Jamal Murray (Canada), and Buddy Hield (Bahamas).
The Rising Stars Challenge goes on the Friday night of All-Star weekend.
