Lowry day to day with wrist injury after tests come back clean

Derick E. Hingle / USA TODAY Sports

The Toronto Raptors will be without All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry for a second straight game Sunday night due to a sore right wrist, but the injury does not appear to be particularly serious.

Tests on Lowry's wrist revealed no significant damage. The swelling has gone down and the Raptors are listing him as day to day, head coach Dwane Casey told reporters before Sunday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Raptors have been 14.6 points per 100 possessions worse with Lowry on the bench this season, but they managed to beat the Boston Celtics without him on Friday, and are now 2-0 on the season in games he sits out.
