Mavericks' Wesley Matthews: Questionable for Wednesday vs. Knicks

Matthews (hip) has been downgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

Earlier in the week, the Mavericks were listing Matthews as probable with the strained right hip, but they've since backtracked a bit from that optimistic outlook. There still seems to be a good chance that Matthews will take the court, but he'll be reevaluated at Wednesday's morning shootaround before the team makes a determination on his status. If Matthews can't take the court, Dorian Finney-Smith and Justin Anderson would likely be in store for more playing time on the wing.
