The Los Angeles Clippers will be without their head coach on Tuesday night.

Doc Rivers will miss the Clippers' contest versus the Philadelphia 76ers due to illness, according to Dan Woike of The Orange County Register.

Assistant Mike Woodson will take over head coaching duties.

Rivers is in the midst of his fourth season with Los Angeles after coming over in a trade with the Boston Celtics back in 2013. He has led the Clippers to a 196-96 record during his time in La La Land.

The Clippers will get a big boost to their lineup Tuesday, with starting power forward Blake Griffin set to return from an 18-game absence.
