Magic's D.J. Augustin: Will have MRI on Monday

Augustin (ankle) is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Augustin left Sunday's game against the Warriors with a sprained right ankle and was seen walking gingerly at practice Monday. While he wasn't spotted with a boot or crutches, his status still appears to be in some peril for Tuesday's game against the Magic. If Augustin is forced to miss more time, the Magic would likely lean more heavily on starting point guard Elfrid Payton and C.J. Watson, who has been starting at shooting guard while both Evan Fournier (foot) and Jodie Meeks (thumb) have been sidelined. Mario Hezonja would also potentially see some added minutes off the bench.
