Clippers' Blake Griffin: Doubtful for Monday vs. Hawks

Griffin (knee) is listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Hawks, Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

The Clippers haven't indicated that Griffin has resumed practicing with full contact, so it's unlikely that the big man will be able to suit up Monday. That being said, it's at least encouraging that he has yet to be ruled out entirely, suggesting that Griffin may be in the day-to-day range of his recovery from arthroscopic right knee surgery. After Monday's game, the Clippers will finish off the back-to-back set Tuesday against the 76ers, and while it's likely Griffin will remain out for that contest, he could make his highly-anticipated return to the starting lineup in the team's following game Saturday against the Warriors.
