After dropping a game-high 37 points Thursday, Karl-Anthony Towns had a message for the rest of the NBA.
"Put some respect on my name," Towns told TNT's Rosalyn Gold-Onwude following the contest. "Remember that."
Towns erupted for one of his best games as a pro in the Timberwolves' win over the Los Angeles Clippers, chipping in 12 rebounds, five assists, and a steal to go along with his 37 points. The second-year player was particularly effective in the second half, scoring 27 points.
With the victory, Minnesota moved to 15-28 on the season, trailing the Denver Nuggets by just three games for the eighth seed.
