Report: Curry, Harden voted as All-Star starters

USA Today Sports

Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry and Houston Rockets point guard James Harden have been voted as the starting backcourt in the West for this year's All-Star Game, sources tell Tim Bontemps of The Washington Post.

The inclusion of both players means triple-double machine Russell Westbrook will not be a starter.

Curry is putting together another strong season for the Warriors, averaging 24.6 points, 6.1 assists, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 steals on 46.5 percent shooting and 39.7 percent from distance.

Harden is in the midst of his best season as a pro, averaging career-highs in assists (11.6) and rebounds (8.3), while also chipping in with 28.9 points per game.

All starters will be officially announced on Thursday evening.
