USA Today Sports
Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls has been voted as an All-Star starter in the Eastern Conference frontcourt, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.
It's a deserved honor for Butler, who shifted from the backcourt to the frontcourt for this year's balloting purposes. It will be his first All-Star start, after being named as a reserve the past two seasons.
The 27-year-old is averaging a career-high 24.8 points per game and 25.9 player efficiency rating while providing his usual solid defense.
