Hawks' Mike Muscala: Ruled out Wednesday vs. Pistons

Muscala (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pistons.

Analysis:

Muscala will miss his second straight contest after spraining his left ankle in the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Bucks. Dwight Howard is back in line to start at center after sitting out Monday against the Knicks in order to rest, so look for coach Mike Budenholzer to turn to some combination of Kris Humphries and Mike Scott to cover Muscala's role as the first big man off the bench.
