Draymond has no problem putting pressure on son

Draymond Green doesn't just expect the best out of his teammates. He expects it from his son, too.

The Golden State Warriors forward welcomed his first child on Dec. 22, naming him after himself.

"Draymond Jr. I had to do it," the 26-year-old told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne on Monday. "They said, 'Ah, you'll put pressure on him.' If you can't live up to pressure then what can you do?"

Just five years into his NBA career, Green has already earned All-Star, All-Defensive, and All-NBA nods. His trophy case also includes a championship ring and an Olympic gold medal. He's a strong contender for DPOY, while his team is the odds-on favorite to capture the 2016-17 title.

No pressure, baby Dray.

Despite all the success he's enjoyed on the court, Green said fatherhood is "the most amazing thing in the world."

"It's a lot of fun. A lot of nights with no sleep, broken up sleep, he'll give me two hours here and there, he'll cry, but it's amazing," he said.
