76ers' Nerlens Noel: Expects to play Wednesday

Noel (ankle) said he expects to play Wednesday against the Raptors, Tom Moore of the Bucks County Courier Times reports.

Analysis:

Noel conceded that his sprained left ankle is still "a little sore," but he went on to note that he "definitely should be able to go [Wednesday]," per Moore. The big man sat out Monday's win over the Bucks, but prior to that, he had played at least 20 minutes in four of the 76ers' previous six games. Assuming Noel is able to make it through the 76ers' morning shootaround Wednesday without incident, he should slot back in as the primary backup to Joel Embiid, with Jahlil Okafor dropping to third on the depth chart at center as a result.
