Knicks' Lee: Given our talent, 'it's dumb' we keep losing by 1

After losing his starting spot to Ron Baker and not getting any burn in the second half of Monday's 108-107 loss to the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks shooting guard Courtney Lee posted photos from the "Dumb and Dumber" franchise on Instagram.

That set tongues wagging about more trouble in Knicks paradise. Lee promptly deleted the photos, and shared another one explaining he wasn't taking a shot at "any change, rotation, system, players, coaches."

He said it's "dumb" New York keeps losing games by a single possession despite the team's abundance of talent.

Since ranking third in the East earlier in the season, the Knicks have dropped 14-of-18 contests - with five of those losses decided by two points or less - and fallen out of the playoff picture.

Though the outlook is bleak, they play in the fairly wide-open Eastern Conference. They're currently 11th, but only four games out of No. 5 with half the campaign remaining. If they do figure it out as Lee expects, they could find themselves playing past April for the first time in four years.

So, yes, I'm telling you there's a chance.
