Rockets' Eric Gordon: Struggles with shot in return

Gordon (toe) tallied 13 points (4-11 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one assist across 31 minutes during a 110-105 loss to the Grizzlies on Friday.

Analysis:

Gordon looked a little tentative in his return from a toe-game absence due to a sprained toe. He generally doesn't add much value other than scoring, so when his shot isn't falling, his fantasy value drops quite a bit. Gordon was playing well before his toe injury, however, averaging 19.2 points, 4.0 three-pointers, 3.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds in his 10 games prior to Friday. It may only take him a few games to ease back in before he resumes producing at that level.
