New York Knicks big man Kyle O'Quinn has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for pushing New Orleans Pelicans All-Star Anthony Davis from behind during Monday's game, the league announced.

The incident occurred with 1:16 remaining in the third quarter and the Knicks trailing by 18. With Davis running the fast break, O'Quinn shoved him from behind while the latter was in midair, sending Davis flying into the first few rows at Madison Square Garden.

O'Quinn was assessed a flagrant-2 foul for his actions, resulting in his immediate ejection.

New Orleans maintained its lead and went on to win the game, 110-96. O'Quinn finished with two points and two boards in 12 minutes of action.
