Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry and Chicago Bulls small forward Jimmy Butler have been named Players of the Week for their respective conferences.

Curry is coming off of one of his best stretches of the season, averaging 31.8 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds during the Warriors' 3-1 week. While not nearly as dominant as last season, the two-time MVP has provided plenty of offense for Golden State in 2016-17, and is a major reason why it sits atop the NBA with a 32-6 record.

After ending 2016 by slipping below .500, Butler led the Bulls to a bounce-back week, going 3-0 to start the new year. The Marquette product was completely dominant, averaging 38 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists for the week that was highlighted by his 50-point performance against the Charlotte Hornets.

It is the ninth Player of the Week honor of Curry's career, and Butler's third.
